Mr. Burglass is a founding member and managing partner of Burglass & Tankersley, LLC.  He practices extensively in the areas of insurance, construction and class action litigation.  Mr. Burglass also has experience in admiralty and maritime, products liability and medical malpractice litigation matters.

Mr. Burglass regularly represents and counsels insurance companies and entities on regulatory, litigation and transactional issues while doing business in Louisiana.  His appointment to the Surplus Lines Advisory Council of the Louisiana Department of Insurance by Louisiana Commissioner James Donelon highlights his experience and knowledge regarding insurance matters.

Mr. Burglass is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the Louisiana Surplus Lines Association.  He is recognized as a Proctor in Admiralty and Maritime Law by the Maritime Law Association of the United States. Mr. Burglass is AV® peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Burglass received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.S. from Loyola University.
