Mindy Nunez Duffourc

Mindy received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana Tech University in 2005 and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina in 2008. She has practiced as a civil litigator in Chicago and New Orleans and maintains a winning record after solo-chairing 50+ civil jury trials. In 2016, she was selected to serve as an Alexander von Humboldt German Chancellor Fellow, during which time she conducted comparative legal research with goal of identifying and developing policies that prevent and fairly resolve medical malpractice claims. She is currently Ph.D. candidate at the University of Passau in Germany where she continues her comparative medical negligence research spending part of the year in New Orleans and part of the year in Germany.
